Chainlink has introduced the 'Chainlink Runtime Environment' (CRE), a framework designed to bridge traditional financial systems with blockchain and smart contracts. This upgrade aims to streamline integrations and reduce complexity by drawing on established standards like COBOL. The CRE is seen as a pivotal development for institutional adoption, converging traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi) while solving interoperability issues through the CCIP standard. Additionally, Chainlink has seen 16 new integrations across six blockchains this week, showcasing its versatility and cross-chain growth. Notably, Chainlink announced a novel automated tokenized fund management solution at the Singapore FinTech Festival, in collaboration with SBI Digital Markets and UBS Asset Management, as part of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Project Guardian. Sergey Nazarov, Co-Founder of Chainlink, and Zak Folkman, Co-Founder of World Liberty Financial, shared insights on Chainlink CCIP and their collaboration to create the future of finance live from the NYSE.
