Chainlink's strategic reserve has recently seen a substantial increase, with an addition of 44,109.76 LINK tokens on August 14, bringing the total reserve balance to 109,661.68 LINK. This addition is valued at approximately $1.03 million, contributing to a total reserve value exceeding $2.5 million. The inflow primarily originated from swaps of USDC into LINK via Uniswap, accounting for about 90%, while the remaining 10% came from user fees. Concurrently, Chainlink secures $82.469 billion in Ethereum-based decentralized finance (DeFi), marking an increase of nearly $5 billion from the previous day. The Chainlink Reserve is intended to support the long-term growth and sustainability of the Chainlink network.
