The Pancake Bunny hacker, who had been inactive for three years, resurfaced on July 9 and laundered $3 million in ETH through Tornado Cash. The funds were stolen from the DeFi protocol on BNB Smart Chain. Additionally, hacking attempts were detected on Wasabi Wallet, with one coordinator, WasabiCoordinator, attempting to siphon funds from users. The wallet-draining group, Inferno Drainer, was thwarted in its attempt to launder 174 ETH ($533,000) through the Ethereum privacy protocol Railgun, which blocked the transaction and returned the funds to Inferno's wallet. Railgun used its Private POI system to ensure tokens from bad actors are blocked.
