Polter Finance, a decentralized finance platform, was exploited on November 17th, resulting in losses of approximately $8.7 million in cryptocurrency. The attacker, whose address was labeled, transferred 120 ETH to TornadoCash, a privacy protocol, in an attempt to obscure the trail of the stolen funds. The exploit was facilitated by a vulnerable Price Oracle deployed just six hours before the attack, and the attacker had funded their wallet via TornadoCash three days prior.
