StakeStone, a prominent player in the staking ecosystem, has announced the completion of its snapshot, a significant step in its development as a liquidity distribution layer for Web3. The project, which has gained attention for its innovative liquidity solutions, has previously collaborated with various projects, including Berachain and StoryProtocol, achieving a total value locked (TVL) of $627 million. StakeStone's model focuses on providing liquidity rather than security, distinguishing it from other staking projects like Eigenlayer. The recent snapshot will allow holders of STONE, BERASTONE, SBTC, and STONEBTC tokens to qualify for an airdrop, further incentivizing participation in the platform. StakeStone aims to expand its reach across 14 chains and has facilitated the movement of $3.57 billion in STONE across these chains, demonstrating its growing influence in the decentralized finance space.
