Crypto trading platform Abra, also known as AbraGlobal and Cap Mgt, has acquired several private cryptocurrency trusts from Valkyrie Investments. The acquisition includes trusts for Bitcoin ($BTC), Tron, and Zilliqa, with the Tron and Zilliqa trusts valued at $50 million and $21.3 million, respectively. This strategic purchase highlights significant portfolio expansion for Abra, despite ongoing settlements with 25 state regulators in the U.S. Valkyrie Investments, connected to Justin Sun, has been making notable moves in the crypto space, including the sale of its ETF business. The acquisition reportedly took place in May 2024.
