American Airlines has replaced its legal team following a controversial court filing that blamed a nine-year-old Texas girl for being filmed by a hidden camera in an airplane bathroom. The camera was allegedly placed by a former employee of the airline. The original legal team, Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker, argued that the girl should have been aware of the recording device in the compromised lavatory. In response to the backlash, American Airlines has now appointed Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP as its new legal representation. Attorneys for the girl and her family, Lewis & Llewellyn LLP, were notified of the change on Friday.
