The median S&P 500 CEO earned a record $15.7 million in 2023, marking an 8% increase over the past year and a 113% rise over the last decade. Half of the executives made at least $15.7 million, highlighting the substantial growth in executive compensation. The highest paid CEOs of 2023 were part of this trend.
