Cohere, an OpenAI rival, is finalizing a $500 million funding round at a $5 billion valuation. Canadian pension fund PSP Investments is set to co-lead the funding. Cohere's ARR has surged to $22 million from $13 million, boosted by its latest model Command-R. Public Sector Pension Investment Board in Canada is investing in Cohere at 227x ARR.
