
Coinbase Prime has been awarded a $32.5 million contract by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to provide custody and trading services for the U.S. Marshals Service's (USMS) large-cap digital assets, also referred to as 'Class 1' cryptocurrencies. The USMS, responsible for asset forfeiture, selected Coinbase Prime for its advanced trading and custody capabilities. This partnership marks a significant milestone in the integration of digital assets into federal asset management.
