U.S. chemicals maker Dow has lowered its third-quarter revenue forecast due to an unplanned event at one of its ethylene plants in Texas. The company now expects Q3 2024 revenue to be approximately $10.6 billion and Operating EBITDA around $1.3 billion. CEO Jim Fitterling stated that this incident has also led to a drop in Dow’s stock price.
