The global dominance of American technology companies continues to grow, with eight out of nine trillion-dollar companies being based in the United States. These companies include Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Tesla. In comparison, Europe has only four companies valued at over $100 billion, while the United States boasts 33 such companies. The combined value of the world’s ten largest companies has reached a new high of $20.70 trillion, up from $20.51 trillion last week. This highlights the significant concentration of market power among U.S. firms in the global economy.
