On May 14, former DEA agent Manny Recio was sentenced to three years in federal prison for bribing a longtime colleague to leak DEA intelligence to defense lawyers. Recio, who served as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC), admitted to his actions in court, stating, 'I stand before you without any excuses.'
