
A former director in the New York City Mayor's Office during the Bill de Blasio administration has been arrested and indicted on charges of participating in a bank fraud scheme. He is accused of defrauding over a dozen banks out of approximately $10 million by using illegitimate fraud reports to induce reimbursements.
