Apple supplier Foxconn reported a 72% rise in first-quarter profit, boosted by strong demand for AI servers and coming off a low base from the same period a year earlier. Despite the significant profit increase, the growth was lower than expected and missed forecasts. Foxconn's Q1 revenue fell 9% year-over-year to approximately $40.9 billion, with net profit reaching around $679 million. Consumer electronics accounted for 48% of its revenue, while cloud services contributed 28%.
