Gold prices are nearing record highs, with spot gold surging above $2,400 per ounce for the first time since May. As of today, gold is just a few dollars away from its all-time high of $2,450. The precious metal has seen a significant gain of 1.87%, and if it closes above $2,450, it is expected to rally quickly to around $2,800. The current closing spot record price stands at $2,426.6, and gold is on track to hit its highest closing price of all time. Gold extended its gain to $50 and is currently at $2,440, up by .80%.
Gold is up nicely today (.80%) and is just a few dollars underneath its all-time high of $2,450. If gold can close convincingly above $2,450, that will signal that the next leg of the bull market has truly begun. It should gun for $2,800 very quickly after that. $GLD $XAUUSD https://t.co/GvAMOhuP5m
