JetBlue and Spirit Airlines' $3.8 billion merger has been abandoned following a successful legal challenge by the U.S. Department of Justice, rendering moot an antitrust suit by air travelers. Scandinavian airline SAS has received approval for a debt restructuring plan in bankruptcy court, backed by a $1.2 billion investment from Air France-KLM and Castlelake.
