Former Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby has filed an appeal with the federal court to overturn her convictions for perjury and mortgage fraud. Mosby argues that the prosecution was flawed from the beginning, asserting that the three convictions and the forfeiture order are invalid. In a 69-page appeal brief, she describes the prosecution as 'ill-advised and ill-conceived.' The case is now before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
