Nucor Corporation reported its second-quarter 2025 earnings with revenue of $8.46 billion, slightly below the estimated $8.54 billion but representing an approximate 8% year-over-year increase. The company posted adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $2.60, surpassing the estimate of $2.55, and net income of $603 million, down from $645 million in Q2 2024. Despite the slight profit beat, ArcelorMittal cut its 2025 apparent steel consumption outlook for the U.S., citing subdued economic activity. The company also reported an 80.2% increase in net income up to June, totaling 2.27 billion euros.
