A recent report by FutureSearch provides a detailed breakdown of OpenAI's revenue, estimating an annualized revenue of $3.4 billion. The majority of this revenue comes from ChatGPT Plus, which generates $1.9 billion from 7.7 million subscribers at $20 per month. ChatGPT Enterprise contributes $714 million with 1.2 million subscribers at $50 per month. The API services add $510 million, while ChatGPT Team generates $290 million from 80,000 subscribers at $25 per month. This breakdown highlights that consumer subscriptions form the lion's share of OpenAI's revenue, making 5x more from ChatGPT than other products. However, some skepticism exists about the accuracy of these estimates, as they are based on extrapolations from other subscription models.
