Robinhood has announced a significant reduction in its margin investing rates, aiming to offer the lowest funding costs for individual investors. The new rates, which range from 5.7% to 6.75%, are designed to attract more advanced traders. Specific rates include 6.75% for balances up to $50,000, 6.55% above $50,000, 6.25% above $100,000, 6% above $1 million, 5.95% above $10 million, and 5.7% above $50 million. This move is part of Robinhood's growth push, as the company seeks to become the cheapest place on the market to access margin. Last quarter, Robinhood earned $72 million from margin interest.
