S&P 500 Up 41.61 Points, Nasdaq Close at Record Highs, Nvidia Overtakes Microsoft

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq have both closed at record highs. The S&P 500 unofficially closed up 41.61 points, or 0.77 percent, at 5,473.21, marking its 31st all-time high this year and its 30th record close this year. The Nasdaq has closed higher for seven consecutive days. Additionally, Nvidia has overtaken Microsoft as the largest company by market capitalization.
