
Singer Sean Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, have been indicted on federal charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and wire fraud by a grand jury in Miami. They are accused of defrauding sellers of high-end specialty vehicles, jewelry, and more by making purchases with fraudulent documents. The fraud scheme amounts to over $1 million. Both face up to 20 years in prison for each of the six counts if convicted. The investigation was conducted by the Broward Sheriff's Office and the Secret Service. They made their first appearance in federal court on Friday.
