Semler Scientific, a Nasdaq-listed healthcare technology company, has expanded its Bitcoin holdings by purchasing an additional 83 Bitcoins for $5 million. This acquisition brings the company's total Bitcoin holdings to 1,012 Bitcoins, valued at approximately $65 million as of August 26, 2024. Since adopting a Bitcoin treasury strategy on May 28, 2024, Semler Scientific has invested $68 million in Bitcoin. The company has also filed to raise $150 million to potentially increase its Bitcoin investments further.
