Tesla Inc. has significantly reduced the price of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) software in the United States from $12,000 to $8,000, returning to its price level in 2020. This price cut represents a reduction by a third of the previous cost, down from its highest price point of $15,000. The company has also eliminated the Enhanced Autopilot package, which was previously priced at $6,000. Additionally, the monthly subscription fee for FSD has been lowered from $199 to $99. This series of price adjustments comes despite previous statements from CEO Elon Musk that the cost of FSD was expected to increase, reflecting its value and advanced capabilities.
