UBS has raised its gold price forecasts for 2026 amid expectations of continued inflation, a weak U.S. dollar, and geopolitical risks. The Swiss bank increased its target price for gold to $3,600 per ounce by the end of March 2026 and further to $3,700 per ounce by the end of June 2026. Additionally, UBS introduced a new forecast of $3,700 per ounce for the end of September 2026 while maintaining its 2025 year-end target at $3,500 per ounce. The firm also raised its full-year gold ETF demand forecast to nearly 600 metric tons from 450 metric tons, citing strong central bank purchases, although slightly below the previous year's near-record levels.
