A UK lawsuit against Google over its adtech practices can proceed to trial, following a ruling by the Competition Appeal Tribunal. The lawsuit, valued at $17 billion (£13 billion or US$17.4-billion), accuses Google parent Alphabet of abusing its dominance in the online advertising market. The tribunal's decision allows the mass lawsuit, which alleges that Google leveraged its market position to the detriment of competitors and consumers, to move forward.
