Gemini, a digital asset company, has secured a Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) license from the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA). This regulatory approval enables Gemini to expand its cryptocurrency services across more than 30 European countries. In addition to the MiCA license, Gemini has also obtained authorization as an investment firm to offer derivatives under the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II). This development marks a significant step in Gemini's European expansion strategy within the crypto sector.
