CNBC has published its 2025 ranking of the World’s Top Fintech Companies, spotlighting firms it says are reshaping digital finance and payments. San Francisco–based Plaid said the recognition marks its second consecutive appearance on the list. The data-connectivity platform cited customers such as Brex and Bluevine as examples of startups using its services to expand access to financial products. Blockchain company Ripple reported that it has been included for a third straight year, crediting the nod to its efforts to build what it calls an “Internet of Value,” enabling faster cross-border money transfers.
