An Uber driver in Miami, initially arrested on fraud charges, is now facing sexual assault allegations after a woman claimed she was kidnapped by the driver and woke up naked in a motel. The driver, who allegedly used the woman's credit card to pay for the motel room, is suspected of further criminal behavior, with police suggesting there may be "possibly more victims". In a separate incident, the same Uber driver attempted to sell drugs to undercover officers attending a narcotics investigation convention in Florida, unaware they were law enforcement personnel. The officers set up a sting operation and arrested the driver.
