
French startup Alice & Bob has raised €100 million in a Series B funding round to develop the world's first error-resistant quantum computer, expected to be ready by 2030. The company, which specializes in cat qubit quantum architecture, previously secured €27 million in a Series A round in 2022. The latest funding round saw participation from existing investors including Bpifrance, Axa Venture Partners, and the Qatari sovereign fund, as well as new backing from the European Innovation Council. Alice & Bob aims to enhance the stability of its quantum devices before moving into commercialization.
