A data breach has impacted Cerballiance laboratories in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (PACA) region, exposing sensitive administrative information, including Social Security numbers of numerous patients. Additionally, the MAIF insurance company has alerted its members about a data leak affecting their financial situations, income details, and contact information. Clients of MAIF and Banque Populaire-Caisse d'Épargne are also reported to be victims of this data breach. Furthermore, a cyberattack on Western Alliance Bank, a regional bank based in Phoenix, Arizona, compromised the sensitive data of 21,899 customers, including their Social Security numbers. This breach, linked to a third-party software vulnerability, occurred in October but was only discovered recently. The full extent of the impact on the Cerballiance laboratories is still being assessed.
