Pauline Ferrand-Prévôt, fresh from winning the 2025 women’s Tour de France and Paris-Roubaix, will lead France at the UCI Road World Championships in Kigali on 27 September. The 33-year-old reversed an 11 August decision to skip the event, giving herself a chance to reclaim the rainbow jersey she first won in 2014. National coach Paul Brousse said the rider is “physically at her peak” and carries “enormous ambition” for the mountainous Rwandan course. Ferrand-Prévôt will be supported by a seven-strong French squad featuring Tour top-10 finishers Juliette Labous, Cédrine Kerbaol and Evita Muzic, as well as double stage-winner Maëva Squiban, Léa Curinier and national champion Marie Le Net. The selection positions France among the favourites for the women’s road race and associated time-trial events.
