Face au risque d’isolement, Bayrou drague la CFDT avant le 8 septembre Par @philippinerbt https://t.co/lA8O2qAqAy
During the CFDT summer university event on August 26, 2025, Prime Minister François Bayrou addressed the union in an attempt to engage and reassure its members ahead of the September 8 date. However, Marylise Léon, the head of the CFDT, criticized Bayrou's speech, stating that there were few concrete announcements and that the union was not deceived by his remarks. Despite Bayrou's efforts to appeal to the CFDT leadership, his message failed to convince the union's members, who perceived the speech as insincere and overly flattering without substantive commitments.
