In a separate development, Ethena Labs has announced its decision to wind down all activities of Ethena GmbH in Germany after facing regulatory scrutiny from BaFin regarding MiCAR compliance. The company will no longer pursue authorization in Germany and will transfer its operations to its British Virgin Islands entity, having ceased all minting and redeeming activities since March 21, 2025.
