The Kaito-Wayfinder airdrop process for the $PROMPT token has been compromised by a miner-extractable value (MEV) bot. This bot, identified as 0x80...D4e4, replaced users' claim transactions with its own, stealing tokens and converting them into Ethereum (ETH). On-chain data reveals the bot has stolen approximately 120 ETH, valued at around $190,000, with some reports suggesting the total stolen ETH may be as high as $200,000. The bot immediately swapped the stolen $PROMPT tokens on Uniswap to accumulate ETH. Reports also indicate that $100,000 worth of airdrops was stolen. The incident has prompted the suspension of the claim process for investigation. Affected users have been assured full compensation, including gas fee refunds. The issue is reportedly isolated to this airdrop and does not impact other airdrops. Approximately 30% of the $PROMPT token supply remains available for distribution.
