Meanwhile, the broader cryptocurrency sector has faced significant security challenges, with over $60 million stolen across six incidents within the week. Notably, PolterFinance suffered a loss of around $12 million due to an exploit. In total, November has seen confirmed losses of approximately $63.8 million due to various exploits, hacks, and scams, with $154.9 million reportedly returned. This month’s losses are noted as the second lowest of 2024 so far.
