The Toronto Maple Leafs have agreed to a two-year contract with winger Michael Pezzetta worth US$775,000 in the first season and US$800,000 in the second, giving the deal an average annual value of US$787,500. Pezzetta, 27, spent last season with the Montreal Canadiens, where the Toronto native registered 73 hits in 25 games and led the club in that category for a second straight year. The move adds a physical presence to the Maple Leafs’ bottom six as the team looks to bolster its forechecking and depth heading into the 2025-26 campaign.
