
In Gujarat's Vadodara, the owners and employees of Hussaini Samosa Centre were arrested for allegedly selling samosas containing beef, following a police raid that led to the seizure of 113 kg of cow meat. The action was taken after a tip-off about the eatery in the Panigate area. Yusuf Sheikh and Naeem Sheikh are among the 7 accused of preparing and supplying these meat samosas to various shops across the city for profit. In a separate incident, five individuals were arrested for inserting condoms, gutka, and stones into samosas supplied to a major automobile company's canteen in Pune's Pimpri Chinchwad area. The accused, identified as Rahim Shaikh, Azhar Shaikh, Mazhar Shaikh, Firoz Shaikh, and Vicky Shaikh, were linked to a subcontracting firm responsible for the supply.
