
ACC Limited reported a net profit of ₹361 crore for the first quarter of the financial year 2024-2025, marking a decline of 22.5% year-on-year. The company's revenue from operations fell to ₹5,154.89 crore, down from ₹5,201.11 crore in the same period last year. This performance slightly missed market expectations, as analysts had projected a net profit of ₹371 crore. The earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) stood at ₹679 crore, aligning closely with estimates. Meanwhile, Ambuja Cements announced a standalone net profit of ₹571 crore, an 11% decrease compared to the previous year, with revenue reported at ₹4,516 crore. In addition, Heidelberg Cement recorded a net profit drop of 23.5% to ₹40 crore, with revenue declining to ₹532 crore. Adani Power's net profit fell by 55% year-on-year to ₹3,900 crore, despite a 30% increase in revenue to ₹15,052 crore, driven by a 38% rise in power sales volume.
