Adani Wilmar Limited (AWL) reported its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026, showing a 24.5% decline in net profit to ₹236.4 crore compared to ₹313.2 crore in the same period last year. Despite this, the company's revenue increased by 20.5% year-over-year to ₹17,058.7 crore, driven by higher edible oil realizations. However, operating earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) fell 41.5% to ₹366 crore, resulting in a margin contraction to 2.15% from 4.42% the previous year. The company attributed the margin pressure to higher expenses amid muted consumer demand and fluctuating edible oil prices. Over the last twelve months ending June 2025, AWL's operating EBITDA reached ₹2,384 crore, with a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹1,151 crore.
