Indian pharmaceutical company Alembic Pharmaceuticals reported a 12% decline in fourth-quarter profit for fiscal year 2025, primarily due to a deferred tax expense that offset strong sales growth in both U.S. and domestic markets. The company posted total revenue of INR 1,770 crore, marking a 17% year-on-year increase. Alembic also announced a 550% cash dividend in its Q4 results and highlighted continued growth and margin gains in its animal health business. In the ceramics sector, Kajaria Ceramics reported a 59% drop in net profit to INR 43 crore despite a 1.1% rise in revenue to INR 1,222 crore, with EBITDA down 20% and margins contracting to 11.3% from 14.3% year-on-year. Somany Ceramics saw a 31% decline in profit to INR 21 crore, with revenue up 4.5% to INR 773 crore but EBITDA and margins falling. Wonderla Holidays experienced a 51% profit decrease to INR 11 crore and a 3% revenue decline to INR 97 crore. Dabur's net profit fell 8% to INR 320 crore, with consolidated revenue nearly flat year-on-year at INR 2,830 crore. MRF posted a 31% profit increase and declared its highest-ever dividend of INR 229 per share. Tata Chemicals reported a reduced loss of INR 56 crore compared to INR 850 crore the previous year, with a slight 1% revenue increase to INR 3,509 crore but a 26% drop in EBITDA. Blue Star's income rose 20.8% to INR 4,019 crore, with profit up 20.6% to INR 194 crore, though margins slightly decreased. Voltas more than doubled its profit and declared a dividend of INR 7 per share. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) consolidated profit surged 362% to INR 494.4 crore on a 75% revenue increase to INR 846.6 crore, with a recommended dividend of INR 23 per share. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) announced a 3500% dividend payout. Punjab National Bank (PNB) reported increased slippages and write-offs, with a 145% dividend declared and expectations of lower operating profit in fiscal year 2026. Sonata Software's income declined 8% to INR 2,617 crore, but profit rose 2% to INR 107 crore and EBIT increased 14%.
