Suneeta Reddy Pottipatti, Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited, has sold a 1.3% stake in the company through a block deal, offloading approximately 1.9 million shares at a price of ₹7,850 per share. The transaction, valued at around ₹1,489 crore, represents a slight discount of about 1% compared to the previous day's share price. This move by the promoter group is seen as a strategic step to reduce debt. Separately, India's National Stock Exchange (NSE) will add InterGlobe Aviation, the parent company of IndiGo—the country's largest airline—and Max Health, the most valuable hospital chain by market capitalization, to its benchmark Nifty 50 index effective September 30, 2025.
