Blockchain scaling outfit Arbitrum is bringing its in-person "Open House Hack" to Bengaluru next month, marking the company’s largest developer outreach in India to date. The four-day event will run 18–21 September and offer hands-on workshops, one-on-one mentoring and wellness activities for participants. Teams will compete for a combined prize pool of US$70,000, to be split among the three strongest projects judged by Arbitrum’s technical staff and ecosystem partners. Applications close on 2 September, with acceptances scheduled to be confirmed by 5 September so attendees can arrange travel. The initiative underscores a growing effort by Web3 platforms to tap India’s expanding developer community. Arbitrum said it will provide complimentary shuttles, meals and workspaces at the hacker house, aiming to lower barriers for students and early-stage founders exploring on-chain applications.
