Bank of Baroda reported its Q4 FY25 earnings with a net profit of ₹5,048 crore, surpassing the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of ₹4,801.7 crore. However, its net interest income (NII) missed estimates at ₹11,019.6 crore compared to the expected ₹11,678 crore, declining 6.6% year-on-year. The net profit was supported by other income. Punjab National Bank (PNB) posted a 52% year-on-year rise in net profit to ₹4,567 crore for the quarter ended March 2025, with NII increasing 3.8% to ₹10,757 crore. The PNB board also approved a fundraise of up to ₹8,000 crore via Basel III compliant bonds. BSE reported a substantial increase in Q4 net profit to ₹494 crore from ₹107 crore a year earlier, with revenue up 75% to ₹846.6 crore. The board recommended a dividend of ₹23 per share, including a ₹5 special dividend. BSE's profit surged 362% year-on-year, and EBITDA rose 152% quarter-on-quarter, leading to a 10% share price increase hitting a new 52-week high. Sonata Software's Q4 net profit rose 2.4% quarter-on-quarter to ₹108 crore, despite a 7.9% decline in revenue to ₹2,617.2 crore. EBIT increased 13.9% to ₹149.5 crore, with margin improvement to 5.7%. Symphony reported a 64.6% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹79 crore, with revenue up 47% to ₹488 crore and EBITDA rising 87.7% to ₹107 crore. The company recommended a final dividend of ₹8 per share. Voltas also reported Q4 numbers, contributing to positive market reactions, with shares of Symphony and Voltas rising up to 11% following their results, while Blue Star shares fell 1%.
