Bharti Airtel has reported a significant increase in its first-quarter earnings for FY 2024-25. The telecom giant's consolidated net profit surged 2.5 times year-on-year to Rs 4,160 crore, surpassing market expectations. Revenue for the quarter also saw a rise of 2.8% year-on-year to Rs 38,488 crore. The robust performance was driven by the addition of new users and one-time gains. Bharti Airtel's positive outlook is further supported by expectations of continued growth in its India mobile business. This larger-than-expected profit reflects the strategic leadership of Sunil Mittal.
