
Byju's, the Indian edtech company, is facing a cash crunch and has implemented a new salary policy for its sales staff. According to internal documents and sources, the company will now link the salaries of its sales employees to the weekly revenue they generate. This commission-based policy will treat the payouts as arrears, rather than incentives, and is applicable to the Inside Sales team and other sales divisions. The move comes as Byju's struggles to manage its payroll amid financial difficulties.
