The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested two of its officers for allegedly accepting bribes in exchange for clean chits to nursing colleges in Madhya Pradesh. The officers, tasked with investigating irregularities in these colleges, reportedly set up a cartel to collect bribes from college officials. Inspector Rahul Raj's service has been terminated after he was caught red-handed accepting a bribe. Additionally, Inspectors Sushil Kumar and Majoka Rishikant Asathe, who were earlier attached to the CBI, have been repatriated. The CBI’s Anti-Corruption Bureau in Bhopal had formed various teams to probe the irregularities.
