Colgate-Palmolive has received a tax demand notice amounting to Rs 248.74 crore. In addition, Hindustan Zinc has been issued an income tax demand of Rs 1,170 crore for the fiscal year 2019-20 and plans to appeal the decision. Vedanta has also been served a tax demand of Rs 1,290 crore for the same fiscal year, with intentions to appeal as well. Furthermore, Marico has received a tax demand of Rs 142 crore and is also planning to contest the order.
