DHFL Director Dheeraj Wadhawan Arrested by CBI in Rs 34,000-Crore Bank Fraud Case, Sent to Judicial Custody

DHFL director Dheeraj Wadhawan has been arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with a Rs 34,000 crore bank fraud case. Wadhawan was apprehended from Mumbai on Monday and subsequently produced before a court in Delhi, where he was sent to judicial custody. The CBI had previously charge-sheeted Wadhawan in 2022 in relation to the same case.
